I'm crafty...And other boring news

I have been so horrible with keeping things updated. We were disconnected from the interwebs for a while. I missed being able to check on my littles group on FetLife. They are a bunch of crazy littles that I <3 dearly. I am so glad we have such great mods in there. They kept it up and going during my little unplanned hiatus.

I have no clue what to title this :/

On my last post there was a comment made that ended with a question. Since my response would have been a little on the long winded side, I'm making an individual post. It kind of requires a bit of back story to sound right. The comment was:

"...I find it really hard just talking about things, even just the word Daddy is sometimes difficult to say outloud (I'm still getting used to it) because of it's taboo nature. How did you guys "come out" about it?"

Dark Secrets and Communication

Having someone know some of your deep, dark secrets can be a comforting thing. Some times, not so much. Monster knows mine. I don't think there is a secret I haven't shared with him. He's so easy to just talk to that I don't guard what I say. A long time ago I shared one of my childhood secrets, after a comment my mom made. The kind of silly thing that kids wish for when they're little, only to be embarrassed about it later.

How do I add you to my list of faves? I'm new here! :)
First, welcome to blogger! I'm pretty new around here too, but it has become my favorite blogging sites. And I've attempted a blog on lots of different sites.

I could be totally wrong on this, but I think it is through the "Gadgets" on your dashboard. You click on the link "Add a Gadget" and then select the "Blog List" option. Then click on the blue plus sign. That will give you different options on how it shows up on your blog. On mine I have it titled as "Awesomeness You Should Read." You can also choose which blogs to list, how to list them, and how much of it shows. I just chose alphabetically and the title only, but there's a few different ways.

Another option is how the wonderful June has done a page of her favorites.

What makes him a great Daddy Dom

In the little's group I run on FetLife, a new discussion was started asking what people thought a Daddy should be. It was a coincidence, because while we were playing Cellar Dwellers this week, I passed the storms writing out what my thoughts were on what makes Monster a great Daddy Dom.

Going to start this with a small disclaimer:

These are what my Monster is. I'm not saying it is a standard that has to apply to all Daddies. Just mine.
