10 Day Journaling Exercise: Day Seven

FINALLY! An easy one!

Day Seven: Four Turn-Offs

    1. Someone who can't intelligently argue with me. I like a little debate now and then. Even if I completely agree with your point of view, a good healthy debate is fun.

    2. Not being able to make decisions. You gotta tell me what ya want.

    3. Materialism. Money and stuff is awesome and all, but if you can't live simply...

    4. Violence. Throwin' me down and ravishing me is one thing. Violent, aggressive, meaness is not cool.

  1. #1 - I love an intelligent discussion, about all kindsa stuff
#2 - I HATE having to guess what someone wants, and based on my childhood - that will overload me with anxiety.
#3 - don't need nothing but the love of a good man and my kids and my my happy family - everything else is just gravy
#4 - how come the 'nillas don't get that?

  2. Lol, great minds?

#1- I love having those long conversations over anything and everything. Sitting at the kitchen table, yummy coffee, and a great discussion, that's one of the best things in the world.

#2-Anxiety. Yes! If I have no clue what someone wants, I start questioning it. Is this a test? Am I being set up? Which is the wrong suggestion? What happens if I say the wrong thing? The anxiety sky rockets and honestly...what's sexy about that?

#3. Our anthem...Chicken Fried by The Zac Brown Band.

"It's funny how it's the little things in life
    That mean the most
Not where you live or what you drive
Or the price tag on your clothes
There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind
    This I've come to know"

That's the closest thing to truth for me.

#4- I ask the same thing. Lol

  3. OMG I totally just choked on my apple! I always think that - is this a test? I asked Daddy that a time or 2, lol. Absolutely, Daddy said once he wanted to buy me a big house in the hills. I told him - don't need a big ol' house, silly, just need you - YOU are my home. We could live in a big ol' box, as long as you were there it'd be a palace and I'd be home and I'd be happy.Yeah, silly'nillas, lolol.

    1. Lol, ohhh noes! Are you okay? Darn apple gettin in the way.

Yes, yes, yes! I don't care about the house, I can make anywhere homey, but it's not home without the love.
